The 240,475 square foot new Longmire Junior High School is located on 65 wooded acres in the City of Conroe. With over 20 feet of elevation difference across the site, DIG Engineers worked with the Architect to design the two-story building to accommodate the natural contour of the land. DIG Engineers provided civil engineering services for the drainage, utilities, and detention associated with the project. As part of the design of the site improvements, DIG Engineers utilized 3D modeling of the site to obtain a balanced site and maximize preservation of the existing trees. DIG Engineers also provided civil engineering services for the relocation and extension of public water and sewer lines.
