Huntsville Athletic Sports Complex

Huntsville ISD constructed a new athletic complex located at the high school and features a 6,500 seat ADA accessible football stadium built around the existing Hornet Field, an 824-seat baseball stadium, a 522-seat softball complex, eight tennis courts, a 2-story fieldhouse, practice fields, new parking, and a pedestrian bridge.  The baseball/softball complex features sunken fields that allow fans to reach the top of the bleachers upon approach.   The pedestrian bridge connects the two different sides of the complex.

DIG Engineers designed all the civil engineering site improvements including sports engineering for the synthetic turf fields and tennis courts, grading, detention, utilities, pedestrian bridge, and paving.  Five hundred and fifty-five parking spots will be added throughout the complex to the existing parking space for a total of 1,625 parking spots.  DIG Engineers collaborated with TxDOT and the City of Huntsville to design the public access points of the athletic complex.
