PBK, along with DIG, provided the architectural design, civil, and MEP engineering design for the Cabaniss Athletic Complex, a district sports facility serving the Corpus Christi Independent School District. The project primarily involved the development of two new sub-varsity football/soccer fields, complete with synthetic turf, pre-engineered bleachers, and press boxes. Each field features cutting-edge athletic lighting and scoreboards. Additional improvements included the construction of new concessions, ticket windows, restrooms, and storage spaces for officials and athletes. Our team also designed a new parking lot on the north side, with capacity for 350 vehicles, and a new bus loop drop-off area. Furthermore, the existing baseball and softball fields were upgraded with new dugouts, hitting cages, bullpens, and bleachers. All fields were equipped with underground drainage systems.
