PBK designed a series of baseball stadium complexes so that all children in Chambers County could play on proper fields with proper amenities. Cook Field in Winnie, Texas, is a new four-field baseball complex (new fields, concessions, restrooms, covered entry, and parking), and Anahuac Park is an upgraded four-field baseball complex.
The Westside complex includes a four-field baseball complex, a storm-ready community building (large open area, stage, storage, restrooms, showers, and kitchen), a new road and bridge building (large truck service bays, office, conference room, and restroom), new box site (canopy structures, drop-off zones, new office, restroom, and storage), parking, and site work and utilities. The parking lot consists of 116 regular parking spaces and 5 accessible parking spaces. The baseball complex includes hitting cages, concession stands, restrooms, entrances, and fields. The Cook Field Sports Complex also included the design and construction of a new surface detention pond to reduce flooding potential while adding conveyance capacity to mitigate any adverse drainage impacts from the new development.
